This place was perfect! Bought my daughter here to play on the playground which was huge and has a section for older kids and then for toddlers as well. Very open space with a lot of greenery and beautiful path around the lake. Enjoyed it!

Sloans Lake is always a great place for some exercise! It's quite a good distance around to run or walk which makes a good challenge. I've only been once and parked at the east lot. There weren't many spots but people left often. It's a great place for photos of both the mountains and city.

I really enjoyed walking around Sloan Lake Loop! The loop is about 2.6 miles. The sidewalk is split to allow people to walk both ways. There's not a lot of tree coverage, so if you're sensitive to the sun, I'd recommend wearing sunscreen or a hat of some kind.
